Trigun Being Re-Released This Fall on BluRay and DVD By FUNimation

This is the first “new” anime for FUNimation announced at Katsucon this weekend. Vash The Stampede is already returning for a movie in Japan, so maybe this move is a hint that maybe FUNimation has interest in acquiring the rights for that movie.

Currently, the DVD version is set for Fall of this year, but no word on whether that means the BluRay version comes out at the same time. I guess we will find out soon when thye send out the information to retailers for pre-orders.

My Thoughts On: Ladies Vs. Butlers

You know, I really don’t know why I am still watching this considering it seems almost like the whole point it just to make a fanservice show. There is some humor, and maybe I suffer through the bad parts for that small amount since I don’t have anything to watch on those days.

The story is about a guy who goes to some prestigious school to become a butler. Once there, a series of accidents cause problems, whether it be the accidental molestation of the breast of a girl who obviously likes him, or he himself being molested by one of the maids. He soon meets an old “friend” who finds joy in his despair and thus she tries her hardest to make life even worse for him.

Visually, it is pretty nice looking, especially in HD. Bright colors and some good character designs. Though, I am waiting for 2ch’s group of super otaku to dissect every frame to look for one problem so I can be proven wrong about my opinion.

Audio wise, the VAs do alright. Nothing spectacular, but not horrible. Some music is here and there.

Over all, it is a show that I don’t understand why I am still watching, like I said, it may be for the small amount of humor, or it may be that I hope for a story to start.

Score: 5/10

Hopeful Opinion Score:  7/10

Trigun: Badlands Rumble Teaser Posted

If you want to see the teaser trailer, click this link. It uses .asx streaming stuff, so make sure you have the right program.

Vash the Stampede is back to kick ass and show off his super sweet dance moves once again. 12 years after the original first aired, the movie will come out in Japanese theaters to fully blow shit up again in the town of Makka, which is surrounded by quick sand. Gasback, a notorious robber is rumored to be the one causing all the trouble, so Vash and some other bounty hunters decided they will fix things up. But of course, only if they get something in return.

The movie is set for an April 24 release in Japan, which is 20 days after the 12th birthday of the anime.

Weekly Recap: What The Hell Just Happaned?

bd6198d107efa81bb3bf879573dada2a1234571038_fullThis week was a slow week for me. Trying to find the best way to post things while in school and at home. But, here at the stories for this week, some of which made me go what the hell.

Ladies Vs. Butlers To Get Anime

Akira Live-Action Coming Back?

Free Stream Of The Week: Nana

Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! Getting A Special OVA

Koihime†Musō On Crunchyroll Now

The only one that made me seriously go WTH was Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan!! one. I still can’t figure out why, and I probably never will. Anything that beats Akikan in terms of being bad doesn’t deserve anything. Not even a figure or dakimakura. Maybe one day I will be able to stop them from making more.

Ladies Vs. Butlers To Get Anime

illustAnother light novel series is going to be turned into an anime series. Will I watch it, probably. For some reason I like things based on butlers. It’s because they are typically bad ass when they are in anime I guess.

The story for this goes, Hino Akiharu became an orphan at a very young age and was eventually adopted by his greedy ass of an uncle. When he learns about why his uncle adopted him, he leaves to go to a boarding school where there are mostly girls. Considering how this is a school for the rich and he looks like a bad person, no one likes him. Except for his childhood friend, Saikyou Tomomi, who is kind of a bitch too.

Right now, there isn’t really any information on when it will be out, or which company is making it. But you can F5 this site until it is fully up if you want. Right now the official site is just a picture.

Tentai Senshi Sunred Getting Second Season

Tentai Senshi Sunred, tha anime that makes fun of old anime and live action shows is back for a second season. You can soon watch Sunred, the badass that is a rude MoFo fight against the villains in Florsheim.

I wish all super hero shows were like this. Instead of them all being nice and helpful. Maybe others can take a lesson from this.

Currently, there are no other details regarding release, but they should be up sometime in the future.
