The Disappearance Of Haruhi Suzumiya Character Design Sketches

Looks like they are going back to the original style of animation for Haruhi. While i like the K-On! style and all, it just wasn’t as good as the old style. This way is so much better, and the designs look even more refined than before too. Itsuki does look slightly different, but not to an extreme. Yuki looks like she should. Kyon still has that look of, “why the hell am I agreeing to this” look he always has. And Mikuru is scared of being costume raped as usual.

The Disappearance Of Haruhi Suzumiya Movie Will be 150 Minutes Long?

That is according to a Sankaku Complex at least. I’m not sure if it’s true, but I definitely hope it is.

150 Minutes is a decent amount of time for a movie. 2 hours and 30 minutes total. With the average anime episode being 20 minutes without the ending and opening, that brings it to be equal to about 7.5 episodes. So, essentially, they are making up for the 8 episodes of Endless Eight.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!

That’s about all that I am thinking right now. A full movie will be awesome, especially since it is about my favorite goddess Haruhi Suzumiya, and includes my favorite alien, Yuki Nagato. How can one not be excited about this?

Currently, the movie is set for release in February of next year. So, I would expect it to be out in the US between 2010 and summer of 2011.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Coming Out February 6th?

That’s how it appears on a theatrical movie listing site at least. Can I confirm 100% that this is when it will be out? No, and that is why it is a question for the title and not a statement. I’m just good that way.

The one arc that most people wanted to see the most will be in movie form, and considering how Kadokawa and KyoAni love to harass fans, I doubt this will become the right date, and then the wrong date, but then it will be moved up, only to be released on February 6th in the end of it all. Damn, why do I enjoy Haruhi stuff so much when I deal with this shit all the time?

Oh well, they may love to mess with us, but we deal with it anyways.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya Announcement

AWESOME! HAHA! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!

KyoAni and Kadokawa have finally decided they would do the Disappearance arc for Haruhi, this time though, it’s not a season, but rather a movie.

You heard me right, it’s a movie and it’s set for a 2010 release right now.

NO other details are out yet, and for all we know, there may never be any until it is out.

Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2 OP In English

Done surprisingly well, in fact, I kinda like it a little more than the Japanese version, which is below. Cristina Vee (Cristina Valenzuela) deserves more work in the US anime industry.

Most Epic Night Of Nights Post I could Come Up With At The Time

Endless Eight Finally Ending When It Was Just Starting Again

Well, the Endless Eight arc is finally coming to a close with the next episode being the last episode. Otaku are rejoicing as KyoAni is finally stopping their horrible onslaught of torture upon their fans who are tired out from seeing almost the same episode each week.

I myself have yet to watch any further into the second season sincei  am waiting for DVD releases, but, I can tell people are saddened by this fiasco. Though, I doubt this will stop people from buying the DVDs like crazy. I know it won’t stop me. I am a fanboy of Haruhi Suzumiya after all. Though, I do have hopes that KyoAni will try to make up for this by releasing a proper 3rd season or an OVA series after the 2nd season finishes.

Endless Eight was basically an 8 episode thing made out of a 30 page story. Since Haruhi is able to control stuff without realizing it, she decides that this one day where she hangs out with everyone is the best day ever and it repeats over 15,000 times. Yeah, it may be fun the first time, but for people that remember doing it multiple times, it would be pretty bad.

Let’s just hope no one else pulls something like this.

Haruhi Season 2 Is Real, And I Have Some Screen Caps To Prove It

FINALLY! After years of constant teasing from Kadokawa, Haruhi’s new season has begun. The best part is that I have proof of it.  Real proof too, not just some schedule. Haruhi with long hair in the top, and the next too show some stuff about the Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody name.

I expect Bandai will be announcing a license for this some time in the near future, which will definately be good for me.

Also, you better be grateful she is gracing us with her presence again.

The second coming of Haruhi is amazing, isn’t it? Just look at her, You have no choice but to obey. She told me to watch her new season.

Poor Mikuru is still forced into outfits she doesn’t want to wear for anything other than impressing Kyon. Atleast thats why I always thought she kept it on.

More Proof Of Haruhi Season 2?

Is the wait finally over? I hope so, as the 8th episode of the Haruhi “re-airing” is listed as a new episode call “Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody.” This is the next chronological story in the light novels, but it was not animated for the original season.

Is it true? I think so, it would be kinda weird to mess something like this up, but you never know. We will find out on May 24th though, so not to much longer. Hopefully if it is, Bandai will license all the new episodes and release them before this year’s end. I really need more Haruhi, and the constant teasing of Kadokawa is getting on my nerves.

The Sign Of Haruhi Suzumiya Coming To US This October

Not to long after the first one is a good sign of the future in my opinion. October isn’t to long from now, so I now know what I will be reading then.

The Sign Of Haruhi Suzumiya is about when they start making a film for their cultural festival, but some weird stuff starts happening. Slowly, the world is changing to be like the movie and the SOS members have got to keep it from going any further while at the same time, controlling Haruhi’s powers.

Sound awesome to me, but that might be mostly because it is a Haruhi Suzumiya novel.
