Around The World – AMV

This is one of the best AMVs I have ever watched. It even has a remix of that Fireflies song that makes me like the song.

Working!! Opening In Mario Paint And Piano

Mario Paint Composer is one of the greatest programs released. The way people are able to re-create songs with some weird sounds and different pitches is amazing to me, and this is no exception.

Crunchyroll To Simulcast Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru

Well, we seem to have another anime that will be simulcast on Crunchyroll this season. This time it is Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru, or Uraboku for short. The story of this centers around a guy named Yuki Sakurai who is attacked and then saved by some other guy who  is tall and wears black clothing. Yuki also has some weird ass powers that I’m sure he can shoot out of the tips of his noodle fingers of justice.

Not sure if I expect much from this, but I will more than likely try it out to see if I like it at least.

Currently it is set to start April 11th at 12PM EST.

Trigun Being Re-Released This Fall on BluRay and DVD By FUNimation

This is the first “new” anime for FUNimation announced at Katsucon this weekend. Vash The Stampede is already returning for a movie in Japan, so maybe this move is a hint that maybe FUNimation has interest in acquiring the rights for that movie.

Currently, the DVD version is set for Fall of this year, but no word on whether that means the BluRay version comes out at the same time. I guess we will find out soon when thye send out the information to retailers for pre-orders.

Spring 2010 Anime List

This season has a few titles I am pretty interested in.

Iron Man, RAINBOW – Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin, Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maou, Angel Beats, K-On!, Working!!, Kiss x Sis, Mayoi Neko Overrun!, Hankuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan, and  maybe Giant Killing.

So yeah, a pretty filled up season. Though, there is no telling how many I will drop.

Strike Witches Episodes 1 and 2 Dubbed Posted

If you want to see the episodes, you can watch them here.

I haven’t watched any of them yet, but  I plan to later tonight, so I will update this post with my thoughts on the Dub later on. But  I am hoping for a decent one considering they seem to be pushing Strike Witches more than some shows.

Working!! Promo 2 Posted

Here is the link to the promo that focuses on Kyōko Shirafuji.

Looks like it might be alright. I expect Crunchyroll to probably get this, so come April, we will more than likely be watching it online.

The story is about a group of people working at a family restaurant. These people are stupid, clumsy, unlucky, and hungry. So, you know something is bound to go wrong.

This is another slice of life comedy, so I will definitely watch it. These kind of shows tend to be the most enjoyable to me, especially when the characters are idiots.

My Thoughts On: Hanamaru Kindergarten

Hanamaru Kindergarten is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, so I decided I would give it a try. Hit the link below to find out if I liked it, or if it was a horrible show.

Section 23 Gets Gintama, Living For The Day After Tomorrow, And Hidamari Sketch X 365

I never started watching Gintama on Crunchyroll, but I might as well pick up the DVDs when they are released. If you want a summary of Gintama, you can go to my earlier post here.

Hidamari Sketch X365 is a continuation of the first season and it takes place in Yuno’s second year of school.

Living For The Day After Tomorrow Shoko wanted to be older, and she gets that wish, but at the expense of Karada, Shoko’s brothers ex-girlfriend, losing year on her age. Now the 2 are the same age and must get along in Junior High. Can they make it threw together though.

All these will be coming out in April, with Hidamari Sketch X 365 Complete Collection being $39.98 Along with Living For The Day After Tomorrow being the same price. Gintama Collection 1 will also be the same price.

My Thoughts On: Chu-Bra

Ok, the moment I loaded this up on Crunchyroll, I was expecting the worst. I was almost to embarrassed to even watch it knowing what it was about from the start.

The start of the underwear club at a middle school. That right there is almost reason enough to fear being visited by Chris Hansen, or so I thought.

Hit the link below to read on.

So-Ra-No-Wo-To, Hanamaru Kindergarten, and Durarara!! Now On Crunchyroll

3 new shows from the Winter 2010 season are now on Crunchyroll for your enjoyment. So-Ra-No-Wo-To, Hanamaru Kindergarten, and Durarara!!

So-Ra-No-Wo-To’s story can be found on my earlier post here.

Hanamaru Kindergarten sounds like Kodomo no Jikan, but without the pervertedness and the main character is younger. Basically, the girl is in love with her teacher and is trying to win his love, but since he isn’t a pedophile, he refuses every time.

Durarara!! is abotu a guy who wanted excitement inn his like, so he moves to the Ikebukuro ut has a run in with the city Legend the first day there.

Working Promo Posted

Working, the anime based on the manga about a guy named Sōta Takanashi worling at a family restaurant has had it’s promo video posted.

You can view it here.

I don’t know why, but for some reason, I really like this art style, and since it is a slice of life anime, I will probably watch it to see if it is any good.

Currently it is set for an April 2010 premiere, so not too much longer until it comes on.

Maybe this will show me what it would be like if I had a job at an anime restaurant.

Omamori Himari will be coming to Crunchyroll in about 2 days for Members to watch.

Chu-Bra Now On Crunchyroll

The anime about the underwear club is now on Crunchyroll…

Seriously, wtf is this? Is this another anime company trolling similar to the Haruhi ones? How is it that this is made into an anime and yet I can’t even get another season of Full Metal Panic?

Well, if you feel like watching this, you can find it on Crunchyroll through this link.

Evangelion 1.11 Is Top Selling Blu-Ray Release In Japan This Year

All this does  is make the wait for the US BluRay release of Evangelion 1.11 even longer. I haven’t seen the movie yet since I wanted to wait for a US license and since FUNimation will be releasing the Evangelion 1.11 BluRay on March 9, 2010.

Though, the surprising part is that Bakemonogatari didn’t beat it. It was the highest for quite a few months. Not that I mind. I enjoy Bakemonogatari also, but Evangelion is better in my opinion. I’m just glad that Queen’s Blade didn’t beat either one even though it will probably be the guilty pleasure of mine when it is released next summer here in the US.

If you want to rest of the listing’s for the year, go here. (It’s in Japanese for the most part)
